Hi, lovelies I’m Josi, a woman with a deep love for beauty, culture, and connection.
As I move through the world, I often notice how much misunderstanding and division exist between people and cultures. It’s especially painful to see individuals disconnected from or even rejecting their own African ancestry, as well as witnessing cultures being misunderstood, misrepresented, or met with fear instead of curiosity.

I believe much of this comes from disconnection from self, from history, and from cultural education. My family has been in Germany for over 60 years and we proudly still havent lost the connection to our food , beauty , culture and music whilst respecting the lovely country we live in. This is something i want to give my children and show people around the world , that we can love and appreciate eachother without seeing one more worthy than the other. 

I also wanted to create something family owned , that i can. pass down to my children so our knowledge and culture is never lost.  When we truly know and honour our roots, we learn to love ourselves more fully. And when we love ourselves deeply, we gain the ability to appreciate and respect others with openness and grace.

For a long time, I felt that the beauty industry was missing something essential: a true and thoughtful representation of African luxury, beauty, and lifestyle one that honors heritage, craftsmanship, and care, rather than stereotypes or trends.

That is why I created this space.

Whole House was born as a place of discovery, trust, education, and belonging. A home where people of all backgrounds can learn, connect, and experience beauty rooted in ancestry, intention, and quality. Here, beauty is not rushed or diluted it is honored, celebrated, and shared.

This is more than a store.
It is a home built on love, culture, and purpose.
